  • Texas Tech beats Texas

    How can Texas beat..

    Oklahoma
    Missouri
    Oklahoma State
    Texas Tech

    ...in that order?

Look for a road game in Lubbock to be their Waterloo.

TT can light em up on offense, but they can't stop McCoy. It'll be another Tx-Ok shootout with similar results.

Just for the record the only reason Kansas State was in the game versus Texas Tech in the first half was because Texas Tech's coach is insane.

Agree, with one caveat, it will take turnovers and more than one to save Texas from that thermonuclear tech offense.

Texas Tech puts up good numbers against average and bad teams. Put a remotely decent defense and offensive against them and they fold every single time.

It's more about the "spot" that Texas will be in when they face the Red Raiders. Yes this sort of thing does matter. I'm doubting that Texas can maintain their intensity for four weeks. I have no doubts that Tex Tech will be up for the game.

Conversely, if they get to that game undefeated, the stakes will be enormous and with that comes the adrenaline.

Not really and history has proven that. Once USC became number one....lost! Once Oklahoma became number one...lost! That's just this season.

Teams have a hard time keeping the eye of the tiger going for an extended period of time. This is a proven fact. Now put Texas on the road "after" Oklahoma, Missouri and Okie State and it's a perfect "spot" for a let down. We see it all the time.

Oh Texas, with a login like that, you should definitely know better!

                      a. There are no 'proven facts' in college football
                      b. If Tex and TexT get by OkSt and Ks this weekend (they should, but who knows?), do you really think that a game between two undefeated TEXAS teams would not be all-out WAR? There will be NO let-down and yes, TT will get their points, as will Texas. So who's defense will play better? I'll go with the Steers.

However, with the way things are going OU may miss out on a Big XII championship but could qualify for the BCS championship at the end. Playoffs anyone??
If you're ever walking down the beach and you see a girl dressed in a bikini made out of seashells, and you pick her up and hold her to your ear, you can hear her scream.

Just curious, is Texas the only person here who has never been to Texas?
