Even though Ok and OkSt lost to Texas, both of whom TT beat, I can't believe TT can beat them both - for the same Texas predicted Texas (confusing, eh?) would lose to TT.
huh?
there's no "both of" in front of "whom TT beat" in MY post. (there had been, but I edited it out long before you replied, so there must be a glitch in the system.)
Cool!
Looking for TT to be in the same spot that Texas was in if they get by Okie State. The following week "in" Norman Oklahoma.

He wasn't the only one that saw that coming. Tech has an oustanding and fast front line. Everyone's talking Ok State as a huge test for them, but (ahem) they play the higher ranked Sooners the following week. OU just scored more points on Nebraska than they have in history. Tech beat OU last year in Lubbock and this year it's in Norman. If they get out of Norman alive (which I doubt), they should be #1 in the country.
Tech hasn't lost the second game of a two game homestand in 10 years. That's the "spot" they are vs Oklahoma St. Can't buck a trend that strong. I don't like the game however. These...the big game...like Tech just played does linger on. Can't ignore that 10 year trend (my info only goes back 10 years) and can't back a team coming off a big win, so ..hmmm? I would like to see Tech going for the national title. Exciting brand of football.
Tech MUST endure an emotional let-down after winning the BIGGEST game in school history! OkSt will be sky high. Too close to call!
I agree with you.
As a "serious" sports..a...fan...I look for reasons to back one team over another. Texas was ready to lose a game, it was obvious. Tech is in the national championship hunt. Now add my 10 year trend and I can't back Okie State. I also know better than to back a team after a big emotional win. So......

Thanx but it was a classic "spot" for the upset. Won't get off into gambling here but ..Tech was the play.
So now Okie St upsets Tech next week, right?
