It appears that Burress will be charged with criminal possession of a handgun.

Plax willing goes to a club where he might need a gun but where does it end. Would we frequent a niteclub where 88m anti tank guns are suggested? How bout showing up with your own personal Abrams tank, hell i'd feel save in 80 ton tank with night vision and heat seeking missiles.

Another perk with a tank is not only personal safety but the bar closes when you say it closes.

Why in heck is his return to court not until March 31?

Burress may not be the only one in legal difficulty. The hospital where he was treated failed to report the incident to the police, apparently in violation of the law. There could be consequences.

Giants have placed him on injured list and suspended him for four games without pay.

They may be millionaires now, but I bet half of them will be bankrupt within five years of leaving the NFL or NBA.
