  • How how are you easterners coping?

    Looks pretty nasty back east.
I guess if you don't have power you aren't here :P :? but how are you all doing otherwise?

SQUACKEE are you alive and well?

We are even snowed in here in lotusland.
My fair city is ill equipped for snow so the roads are bad and everyone just stays in. We have a huge senior population and this will be tough on them.

Yes 5 cm of snow will shut this place down.

Anyway just looking for weather reports ....except FLA.

Oklahoma is Four Seasons (not the hotel chain) country. We are having sucesssive days of three of them; winter, spring and fall but winter will win in the short run. We will have -5 F and +80F days in January, not necessarily in the same 24 hours .
Today: sunny, 65F with freezing rain promised after midnight for the Monday morning drive to work traffic.

Okay this is NOT funny anymore.

We have aboot a foot of snow and more on the way. It is finally started to warm up(ooh a high of -2C tomorrow-downright balmy! ) but this snow business is NOT suppose to happen here.

I am suppose to have the choice of playing a round of golf or sipping a latte in an outside cafe while the birds chirp merrily aboot on Christmas Day. I am suppose to phone someone back east and gloat.

I am so not happy to be a real Canadian.

Hey Mo, you guys are sure taking a wallop from the snow over in Victoria.

I don't think I'll be making the 13.1 km - 14 minute trek over hill and dale to the family Christmas dinner as MORE SNOW is in the forecast. No prob...I'll bundle up and listen to the 1963 Beatles Christmas message on YouTube and watch Christmas movies until I puke.

                            cman :P

What was a Connecticut winter wonderland for X-mas has been ruined by RAIN. Rain on top of a foot of snow. So we are now a big fat yankee snow cone. Merry #$&^%$# Christmas. :x
