Just went to Google maps. You are correct, tandfman. Great trivia question. Where are the European posters here, since they are such experts on geography? Guyana is the country where Jim Jones had his commune BTW. And it borders the big-ass nation of Brazil.

P.S.: It is Colombia that borders the Amazon. At least I got Chile right.

it is also the only part of "west indies" cricket team which is on mainland of south america & also the worst place on the planet to play cricket as usually the 1st 3 days out of 5 are washed out

I can't make any sense out of cricket. But a lot of countries I like are interested in it, so I am intrigued. I wonder, how many countries play cricket seriously?
