How Many of These Vintage TV Themes Do You Recall?
Very interesting....even though I can't say I recall any of these. On the second (I think) one, it's obvious that the theme song is a version of "Take Five" even before Dave Brubeck's name comes up...
Ah yes, the 60s, my prime TV-addiction years. I'm amazed at how many of those that I have zero recollection of (had to be VERY short-lived). But some of those were hit shows that I watched: THE Cat, Hawk, Burke's Law, and then there's my favorite character actor from back then, Robert Lansing. Who can answer this trivia question: what famous historical character did he play in Chuck Connor's show (before The Rifleman), Branded?
T.H.E Cat was unusual as a half-hour drama show in the 1960's. The only other one that comes to mind was N.Y.P.D. Of course, in the late 1950's there was Perter Gunn.
Same here.... a couple of songs were familiar but I couldn't have associated them with the series names. And I only recalled about half the series titles. And I watched A LOT of TV!

I loved that show. Robert Loggia oozed style and suave. Action, intrigue, and gorgeous, usually dark-eyed, babes! [There was a gypsy cultural tie-in.]
Used to come on right before "The Avengers"--Friday or Saturday evenings, if (admittedly faulty) memory serves.
Anyone besides me remember what "T.H.E" stood for? Hint: It was the character's name, and he always said it--a' la Bond, a movie contemporary nearly all of these character's were patterned after--at the end of the teaser.
