Track and Field News or Sports Illustrated ...

For those of you who have graced either or both - no fair answering. For the rest of us - Which magazine would you rather see your picture on - the cover ... just you no one else? In your 'prime' of course.

Prime is relative. In HS, I was pretty good. In college I was decidedly mediocre, as a Master I am . . . in my prime 8-)

It is always scary putting a face to a name

Very well photoshopped by the way (although you could got yourself a little lower over the hurdle while you were at it).... can you do one of me in a swimsuit for SI?

Oh, and how come I didn't see the thread of furore about you getting a cover before Allen Johnson?

Marlow, you're from Florida, and you appear whiter than the average Canadian in February. Don't you guys have tanning booths? And to think you used Photoshop.....

Let me go back to the post that started this highjacked thread and ask a slightly different question. Whom would you rather have dinner with, Mary Decker or Brooklyn Decker?

True story: until recent years the SI Swimsuit issue was part of a regular SI issue with typical sports articles in the rest of the magazine. I happened to be an umpire at a major indoor meet that year. The following week, one of my co-workers in the office tells me that I am in the swimsuit issue of SI - wearing a tux. Sure enough, there was a picture of Greg Foster clearing a hurdle and I was standing in the background.

OK, I'll bite, who the hell is Brooklyn Decker? Sight unseen, I'd go with Slaney. I saw her at/around the trials last year, and she has aged beautifully. Her voice has improved with age as well. The fine whine of the past is gone.
