Eldrick, you'll have to find someone else to get into a pissing contest with, because I'm not interested. This exchange from another thread is a perfect illustration of why it's not worth my time.

i've seen no news item ever saying tokyo venue has been banned

if iaaf woudn't admit marks were legit, they certainly weren't going to compound their incompetence by issuing a statement they'd banned the venue
I absolutely do not believe, that when I used the phrase "Tokyo-style tracks", you actually believed I was talking about the venue (stadium infrastructure), and not the running surface (and similar surfaces) used at the 1991 World Championships.

    why ?

There's talk about adding substances to the water to make it more bouyant
    any links ?

And if the new suits are slower than the current Speedos, will those records be taken off the books or have an asterik put next to them as in track and field and cycling?
    why ?

the FS-PRO was launched on 16th February '07

have all the records broken between then & 14th Feb '08 when they launced the LZR been taken off the books or had an asterisk put next to them ???

Swimming’s governing body moved a step closer on Friday to limiting the role of high-tech swim suits that helped produce more than 100 world records since their introduction a year ago. . . . . Opponents have said that the suits create changes in buoyancy levels and amount to “technological doping.”
