    :lol: You sometimes hear things like that on the BBC commentary: like a distance runner destroyed a record by taking 2 tenths of a record. Annihilating a record is Mo Farah taking 6 seconds off a record.

    Although I think there are special cases such as Bolt's 19.30 - that record was so far out there, taking 2 hundredths off it should at least count as an honorary smashing, if not an actual.
