  • Does Kenya, Ethiopia, Morroco etc. - have masters programs ?

organizations, and if so how do they compare? ... etc

Just guessing, but given the economics of those nations, where running is generally treated as a money-generating activity for your younger days, I would suspect that the thought of a middle-aged person running "for fun" would be viewed as most strange behaviour more often than not.

Presently only three out of 31 WAVA/IAAF affiliated countries in Africa viz South Africa, Namibia and Mauritius are actively involved in the sport of veteran/masters athletics.

You'd suspect, but you wouldn't know.

          They hold African masters championships.

But few Kenyans show up at masters worlds. Sigh.

With Morocco struggling to keep trainers and find talent on the grassroots level, one would be hard-pressed to find a successful Master's programme in the state.

I wasn't addressing Africa as a whole (South Africa a whole different ball of wax): I was addressing the three nations cited in the thread's headline.
