How come in soccer when someone in the field gets hurt, they immediately carry him off on the stretcher? But tonight when the El Salvador goalie got hurt, he got all day to try to recover.

FIFA follows all the refs closely, and I don't think this Mexican crew will ever see any action in the World Cup.

Fun match to watch. Beat the hell out of the NCAA tourney, which has become a bore.

Keepers always get special treatment. Notice that the USA did all their scoring after the ref made him get subbed. Having to come back from 0-2 was almost disastrous for us. The rest of CONCACAF sees our weaknesses.

I guess the story of the game was the keeper situation. We had to go without Howard and they went downhill when their top guy went out.

I love watching the US play in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador. Awesome setting and environment.
