I have a collection of B Movies including Billy Jack, some Bruce Lee movies and some Blaxploitation Movies from that era.
We love watching them not only for a few laughs, but also for nostalgia reasons.
Karate style kick fighting was HUGE in the 60s and 70s.

Gotta be in the top 3 worst movies ever!!! Hilariously awful, plot line defies logic at every turn... dialogue and acting so horrendous it is almost beyond description. So I wonder why I watched the whole damn thing? Must be because I couldn't care less who wins between Michigan State and UNC.

It was indeed the quintessential "B" movie.
Got to give Tom Laughlin credit, though: After this first-try effort, "Billy Jack" was a HUGE success--especially impressive as it was probably the first truly successful American-made indie.
I'd say the "one too many" was their remake of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" ...titled (imagine!) "Billy Jack Goes to Washington."
