For me, I like diversity. I'm good with John Bonham and I also like Buddy Rich. Even some of the more modern guys like Mike Mangini and Pete Sandoval are impressive. Check out this clip of Pete.

I own 2 Buddy Rich DVD's so im a big fan. Billy Cobham is a monster.

For Rock i like Bonham. For pop i like Ringo. Listen to his fills on A Day in the Life. Perfect.

Buddy was amazing. Some of the solos he would perform, it was like he had four arms or something. I loved how he would tap the rims of drums with tips of the drum sticks.
