I don't watch baseball any more, but I used to love watching him pitch.

Accidental suffocation when his clothes got caught up in truck's power takeoff shaft, whatever that is: http://www.thebostonchannel.com/cnn-new ... etail.html

        Ominous Start to Baseball Season

First a kid pitcher dies after hurling a shutout f/ the Angels, then Harry Kalas dies at the Nats' home opener, and now Fidrych? Not exactly an upbeat opening.

Obviously, hammy, you have been deprived of the education that comes from living on a farm.
A power takeoff is an exposed universal joint transmitting power to an accessory or implement. It goes round and round very fast. Do not wear loose clothing anywhere near it. It will wrap you up in an instant.

I've had a box of Pepperidge Farm pastries. Unfortunately no high-speed machinery was involved in eating them, so my education is lacking.
