Manny Ramirez just got popped for 50 games for testing postive for PED's. He was one guy I thought was so much of a natural that he wouldn't need to. He's lucky he's in baseball and only got 1/3 of a season instead of multiple years.

Yes, Squack, he did just that:
"Recently I saw a physician for a personal health issue. He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was OK to give me," Ramirez said in a statement issued by the players' union.
"Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy that mistake is now my responsibility. I have been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I've taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past five seasons."

If Plaxico Buress can find a doctor that would cover up a gun shot wound, then surely Ramirez wouldn't have a problem finding a crooked doctor who's willing to write phoney prescriptions. As a matter of fact, a few years ago, there were several Carolina Panthers football players who were getting phoney prescriptions from a crooked doctor who has since lost his license.
