  • If I could have any car...

If gas prices weren't an issue and I could have a toy to play with on occasion it would be a Bugatti Veyron. It retails at about 1.7M if fully loaded and there were only 300 of them built. Horsepower has been estimated to be about 1,020 and the top speed is 253 MPH. It can go up to 300 MPH but becomes unstable. At full throttle it would empty it's gas tank in approximately 12 minutes and the tires likely wouldn't last that long.

All the features of this car are customed to the drivers specifications. I know what you're saying. Dream on! That's the fun part of it.

If you're ever walking down the beach and you see a girl dressed in a bikini made out of seashells, and you pick her up and hold her to your ear, you can hear her scream.

I completely understand Squackee. Most cars these days are bland and all look too similar. Although one of my neighbours has a sleek Audi I really like.

I do prefer the look and character of older cars like the Morris Traveller:

      Or the VW camper van:

For me I'd have to say the now-defunct Porsche Carrera GT from a few years ago. Top speed 205 mph, 0-60 in 3.7. All for a bargain price of $440,000.

As it is, I'll have to settle for my BMW 135i which runs to 60 in a paltry 4.7.

            Somehow, I'll live

There are no strings on me

It's not the point of wanting to drive fast. It's having the ability if you need to. 8-)

As a many-years faithful Beemer driver it pains me to have to point out that one can now buy a 4-door Caddy that does 3.9! And has run the Nürburgring faster than any sedan that BMW or Mercedes makes.

                        Check this beast out:

What a bunch of dweebs. The only car is a 1940 Ford Coupe Deluxe, upgraded with a dual quad, Chevy 283, close ratio 4 speed, 4:11 rear end, 810s on the rear, 670s on the front, Tijuana tuck & roll. A little heat on the front springs will drop it nicely. Oh, did I mention 20" glasspack mufflers. Finish it all off with multi layers of rubbed out black paint.

Hell, I'm getting a hard on just thinking about it.

For you kids, here's what a stocker looks like.
