Very disturbing. Of course, my mind immediately races to what the implications are for athletics. There's no reason to believe that blood-doping doesn't take place during competition, with EPO being used out of season with its current low risk of detection given how quickly it apparently clears the body.
I thought the risk of infection made blood-doping too risky? And surely people notice mini-blood banks being carried around? :shock:
