I read his whole entire blog.

It's sad, because it seems to me that this LA fitness shooting could have easily been prevented if he would have just seen a decent psychologist at some point. He even says "I wish there was someone I could talk to seriously about this stuff, nobody seems to get it" and similar, several times.

If he was really was rejected by as many women as he claimed (literally thousands) and never accepted by any of them, it seems rather obvious, given that he wasn't super ugly or anything, that his problem was with his attitude and personality. A psychologist could have helped him be more aware of the image he gives off to others, and what causes him to have the mindset and attitude he had, that caused such a negative vibe that he was giving off. It's not like they could have helped him become Mr. Cheerful Sunnydays, but, they still could have at least gotten him to realize that shooting lots of random women to death and then offing himself was not necessarily the most logical way to solve his problems.

Oh well, when there's more than 6 billion people on the planet, these things are just plain GOING to happen every so often. It's just basic statistics and probability. Doesn't make it suck any less when it happens though. I feel sorry for the families of the women he shot. Tragic [/b]

Euripides said that man's most valuable trait is a judicious sense of what not to believe. While that may be the most valuable trait, I believe without a doubt the second most valuable trait is the ability to see ourselves the way other people see us. I find that when there is a big gap between the way a person sees himself/herself and the way other people see him/her, usually that person is unhappy. On the other hand, I know a woman who considers herself a bitch and is totally comfortable with other people viewing her that way, and she seems to be totally content with herself. However, not only is she a looker, but she does know how to turn on her charm switch and use it whenever she wants something from someone.
