Brett Favre is facing the Green Bay Packers tonight on MNF. Perhaps this is one of the more anticipated regular season NFL games in quite some time. Or perhaps not. With Favre there is likely to be some drama concomitant with his presence alone. Of course it might even be more dramatic when they play in Lambeau Field. It should be fun. Are you ready for some football?

If I recall, the biggest MNF audience was for Dan Marino's Dolphins against the undefeated Chicago Bears. That would have been on ABC, so I doubt tonight's ESPN show will surpass that. It will be huge nonetheless.
Edit: Go Vikes, go Twins!!!!

Good for Favre, still playing well.
Anyone notice the scary speed of Jared Allen on the last play of the first half closing in on Rodgers? (no sack, just a hit). People that big should not more that explosively. I'm surprised there aren't more deaths/paralysis in the NFL.You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!

Favre:
'nuff said...
Like the most recent poster, I thought about 4.55 times for the 40-yard dash for 245 lb. OLB's last night, and since I had a 5'7", 135 lb. cousin who ran that fast on his indoor team, I marveled that the NFL doesn't have more deaths, and plays which result in a player's paralysis.

Like so many before him (Foreman, Coghlan, Ottey, et. al.), Favre is proving that he can still play...
...BUT...
...After the 10th game of the season, they really need to watch him very carefully, lest he begin to break down the way he did last year in a Jets uniform. After an 8-3 start, he went 1-4, full of interceptions, and out of the playoffs. I had a feeling he was going to come back.
