  • Ted Kennedy has passed

I'd like to comment, but it's not July 4.

The irony of him being the survivor of the clan can't be lost on many.
    RIP TK.

Amazing how this family seemed to love all people in spite of physical differences.

Even in the face of being hated for it.

Certainly appears that Joe did something right.

        RIP Teddy.

Sad day as the liberal lion of the Senate passes.

          RIP Edward Kennedy

interesting that his death immediately follows that of his big sister, and that the current president is on the Massachusetts coast when it happened.

Michael, Cronkite, Teddy. Society, current events, and media have changed such that it is difficult for anyone to follow in their respective footsteps.

            Title IX.

The "off the cuff" spoken tributes to him are very moving.

                Teddy

Every journalist or pundit who has spoken about him on MSNBC shared a story in which the senator reached out to them thoughtfully after a family loss, illness, or birth of theirs. In each case he was the first person to contact them (no matter their political persuasion).

The Kopechne family begs to differ.

One could make the case that the two individuals who sparked the most change in the post-WW II U.S. were the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., born 1929 and Edward Moore Kennedy, born 1932.

The reckless disregard for another human being and you want to lionize the selfish SOB? Disgusting.

Anything comments regarding the last 40 years?

Hopefully no one will dig up dirt on you when you "give up the ghost."

Something tells me they wouldn't have to look far.
