At the elite 100 level, isn't that a lot? That's the difference between a 9.99 runner and a 10.30 one.

OU vs. Florida for all the marbles. Then I predict Tebow loses his!

      Boomer Sooner!

P.S. I'm going to two games this year. OU vs. Neb and OU vs. TX A&M. Maybe more, we'll see how it goes.

Many times when a team is annointed a "Best Ever" before the season begins they usually end up stumbling at some point. The last "Best Ever" was USC and they ended up losing to Texas.

Then I' m very glad I said Florida was only third best this coming season. I hope I've jinxed Tex and Okla!

Notre Dame could win all their regular season games and it shouldn't mean a damn thing to the computers. Their season is so weak, and if they beat USC (with the freshman QB, and don't bet on hiim being the QB by Notre Dame week) that means the Trojans were way over-rated and they will drop some other games to teams better than the Fighting Irish.

Anyone else think USC may be living on reputation and headed for a tough season?

Did anyone else see the Oregon- Boise State game? Of course Legarrette Blount deserved to be disciplined, but I think Byron Hout deserves to be punished also. Why provoke someone who you've just beat? Where's the sportsmanship?

I just read that and totally agree. Blount is out for the SEASON! Hout needs at least a 2-game suspension. Otherwise taunting like this is just fine.

Bradford out in second quarter. Who knows how long he'll be out. Gresham out indefinitely. This is college football and we have a long season left. Anything can happen.

Unless we have another year like 2004, they should be able recover and put themselves back in the Crystal Football hunt.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. If their offensive line can start figuring out their reads, they will improve in a hurry. It's a totally new front out there. HOWEVER, the defense is absolutely ferocious. It's actually ranked higher than TX. The only problem was the offensive line not doing their job up front and going three and out. That kept their D-line on the field far too long. Again, if they can figure out their reads and stay consistent it will allow the defense to rest a bit more and give their QB a chance to do his thing. Hopefully, that QB will be Bradford.

Even though the Gators' opponent yesterday was Little Sisters of the Poor, they looked scary good. They are a Defensive Coordinator's worst nightmare because of the dazzling array of weaponry - all hyper-fast.
