Perhaps - but I really had the impression it was not staged. How does this enhance Kanye's marketability (i.e., what's in it for him?) ? Is he trying to gangsta up his rep? Get in Beyonce's lingerie?

It was staged. This morning, a DJ on the local radio was forwarded an email from a former coworker who now works for MTV. The director of the VMAs sent it last night thanking everyone for helping make the incident believable and cringe inducing as planned.

Well, I fell for it. ops: Why would someone go out their way to make themselves look so bad?! I don't believe in the adage that says all publicity is good publicity - GOOD publicity is good publicity! I guess he's REALLY counting on everyone finding out it was just a stunt. So Taylor Swift was in on it too? You'd have to think she was. Oh well.

BTW, there's nothing on google about it being a stunt, but there are stories of his apology to Swift. Have fantasy and reality really blurred this much?

BBTW - I NEVER thought the the Timberlake/JJackson 'wardrobe malfuntion' was an accident.
