Bradstock vs Bradstock: Comparing 2 throws 24 years apart!

Before I started chucking everything and anything under the sun and throwing in hand painted outfits with matching javelins I have been known, at least in the javelin world, for my rather large standing throw - 75m old rule / 68m new rule.
For my latest video I decided to compare a 63m ( 800g new Rule ) standing throw I did several weeks ago ( age 47 ) to a 75m (800g Old Rule ) standing throw I did in 1985 ( at age 23 ).
There are several things I do now that are better, I believe, then I did back then. Can you spot what they are?

FYI: The original 1985 video footage of my 75m standing throw was posted on YouTube just over 20 months ago. It has now become the most watched "World Javelin Record" on the internet, albeit a question and very unofficial. This is the original video which should surpass 400,000 hits by the end of this month!!!

He's probably talks to the others great javelin throwers and knows what they can do. I assume this is all for fun. Maybe no one else but Roald has even tried it seriously?

Roald. You get much more out of the rotational style now. Pretty linear in 1985 compared to now.

They are both excellent with the driving foot pointing straight forward. Lusis like eh?
I like the block better now.

The longest standing? What did Fagernes throw? I know he claimed to have the world's longest standing throw. However, I don't know exactly how far that was.

I like the block better too. I'm probably talking through my hat but you seem to be much more patient leading up to block phase. Timing seems to be more refined as it looks like you hit the "sweet spot" with the arm acceleration and arc.

Seriously, how do you know these are the world's longest standing throws?

First: I measured the throws from the end of the run up not the white line.
Secondly: The two throws are a warm up throw and then a training throw - so no red flag because there were no officials it was not a competition - either time.
Third: I don't know that these are the longest throws fore sure, hence the questions and the question marks?

First and second: Merely a feeble attempt at humor. Note the emoticon, and the beginning of the next sentence: "Seriously..."

Third: Poor choice of words. The question is probably moot now, but for what it's worth, I should have written: "Why do you think that these standing throws might be the world's longest?"
