  • Another college web site error. First Centrowitz, now Jordan

    http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml ... EASON=2009

From the Ducks web site speaking about Jordan Hasay:
" Prep: Setting age group records as young as age 12 (3,200 meters, 9:48.77)"

I'm assuming they meant 3,000 meters and not 3,200.

This is unexpected from the web site representing Track Town U.S.A. :?

It was probably some SID who is barely making above minimum wage... cut them some slack.

      Minimum wage? Oregon? Not likely.

I doubt he personally wrote that bio.

How much do you think SIDs make? Seriously?

Agreed. Even though T&F is not a minor sport at UO as it is at other universities, the Sports Information offices usually have plenty of student interns (at little or no pay) working on media guides.

I was once one of those interns, making $5.65/hour for the work I did IN THE OFFICE and exactly $0.00/hour for the majority of the work I did, which was outside the office.
