Any final that doesn't involve Finland is possible.

any combination is possible (and one nhl.com writer actually has Finland in the gold-medal game against Russia), depending on how things play out in the preliminary rounds. See here:

Now that's what I call team spirit!

This is such a tough tournament-one bad game, one hot goalie (ask Canadians Turin 2006) and a favoured team is out.

Of course it could be any combination.

I think it will be Canada,Russia or Sweden in the finals.(any combo of those)

Oh man I so damn nervous......I am worried that Luongo and Brodeur have not played well these past two weeks. :?

I will be in the US for Canada's second game on the 18th. I will be able to watch on TV in enemy territory won't I?

I see it listed for CNBC which is available most places.

I actually didn't know how the hockey was set up for the Olympics so I went to NBC's site to see who was in what group and what happened after group play. Zero info. I had to rummage around ESPN's site to find the info.

If you want hockey info go to any Canadian outlet-ctv or cbc are good.

I had been told CNBC but wanted to double check.

                You doubted me  ?!

The best site for hockey info is IIHF.

You are cheering for a different team I think.

I suspect everyone and anyone in that position.

A bit of trivia. Which 2010 Canadian Olympic hockey player's grandfather competed in track and field in the Olympic Games.

                    cman :?:

Yes, it's Gillian Apps (6'0" 177 lbs) whose grandfather represented Canada in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He finished sixth in the pole vault.

Speaking of grandfathers, Boom Boom Geoffrion's grandson Blake is a captain of Wisconsin Badgers hockey team. By next year you should see him in NHL.

The link I gave in the initial post shows the broadcasters for each game (through the 21st at this point, where opponents are known). It will be on CNBC. That's not necessarily good news, as I have no idea how widespread it is on plain-jane cable systems.
