    GMT. Are you still here?[/quote:n1v0kq8a]

Each time zone is supposed to get it at 6PM their time. I still have a little more than two hours.

Well past midnight here and I'm still around, proving it must all be true, since I'm hardly a Christian.

God is so obsessive compulsive. No wonder I wasn't on the rapture list.

There is a simple explanation for all this: The Rapture happened on schedule, but NONE of us were worthy so we are ALL Left Behind!!!

I will say I was creeped out a bit yesterday morning. My wife called me and told me to guess what song my 4 year old was making her play on repeat on the way to preschool...REM's The End of the World As We Know It.

I guess he's too young to know Barry McGuire's Eve of Destruction

As I was saying.....great wacko soothsayer has moved date to October, then every further 6 months until it happens. Was reading a magazine on plane May 22 which said "end of world didn't happen, we will print an apology if it does."

I continue to be amazed at the ability of some seemingly "reasonable" people to believe--on some level--the most ludicrous nonsense. As a culture, we have one foot in the space age and the other in a voodoo ceremony.

Not so fast with the 'we', mon frère. The lunatic fringe has always existed and will continue to fall for the most nonsensical shams. This represents some small proportion of way less than 1% of the population.

I wholeheartedly agree. Just not from the same end of the spectrum, probably
