I think the biggest crime here was staying in a $3000/night hotel room.

            That is cheap...

"It was 3 on Monday morning when we found ourselves recumbent on the floor next to the actor and director Joel Grey in a hotel suite that goes for up to $15,000 per night..."

And now Dominique finds himself facing attempted rape charges at home. C'est ci mal!

Apparently the French women are starting to realise that being constantly grab assed is not so acceptable.

He had to answer the classic question of whether someone of dubious reliability can be credible if there's probable cause and strong circumstantial evidence (in her favor).
He did the right thing with the arrest and the correct thing on giving up on her when things spun out of control.

I don't know if Strass-Kahn has DQed himself from the French Presidency and don't care. I have enough trouble trying to control US politics.

There have been enough stories abounding about his being a bounder, that I think he's lost most French women's votes. The men on the other hand, envy him.

Comedian Andy Borowitz had a terrific tweet on this today:

Thank God Dominique Strauss-Kahn didn't send that maid photos of his penis--then he'd be in real trouble.
