Flavor of the week: the "public ranking" of the top collegiate football player has now devolved into which QB (or rarely a RB) on the best team—or a team that just scored a big win—did well last weekend.

If he can stay out of prison. He had a borderline hate crime this past summer that TAMU got rid of for him and had a felony arrest in his hometown brushed away by the local DA right before he went to college. He is extremely talented but his stupidity may get the best of him.
And I now say "bullshit". Shortly after I posted that, the Aggies sent out 8 tweets promoting his candidacy for the Heisman, including one tbat belittled the credentials of another candidate.
