Another good one from @TerribleMaps - https://twitter.com/TerribleMaps/sta...15929386242048 - Did you know that there only 3 states in the USA in which you can own a kangaroo without a permit?

You can follow @TerribleMaps on twitter. This one is pretty funny - https://twitter.com/TerribleMaps/sta...980651520?s=20 although E Garry might not appreciate it.

In Florida we have too much water. I expect desalination plants will be a big business on the coasts.

Any mass (4+ shot) shootings near you? I found some near me I'd not heard of. Buth then this is America. We are 4% of the world's population and own 45% of the World's guns.

Don't know if anyone has linked a lightning-strike map. This one's pretty cool Hover over the "I" for information about how it works. Pretty simple. Kinda cool to look at when there is a thunderstorm happening locally, like we are having at the moment.

when they expanded from 6 to 12 they also gamed the system so that one of the expansion teams was guaranteed a spot in the Stanley Cup Final. Hence the 3 appearances by St. Louis at the beginning.

because they changed the rules and "guaranteed" that they'd come in with decent parity by restrictign the number of players other teams could protect.

The Vegas hockey team is still pretty good for an expansion team.

Ironically, St Louis (which has a chance of winning the finals) is the west team in the finals instead of Vegas. It was the original NHL expansion team in the finals in the 1960s.

    Surprised Nevada isn't on board....

Fascinating a team from Canada may win an NBA title while their hockey teams can't even get close...
