Why your mental map of the world is (probably) wrong These are some of the most common geographic misconceptions that are both surprising and surprisingly hard to correct.
I do not think it actually tunes local air broadcasts, but rather it finds online radio streaming on the internet and plots its "home base" on a globe. Stations with no online streaming not listed. A "station" listed near my town only streams online and has no on-air broadcast.
Not a verdant planet. I predict it will be difficult to colonize.
You're correct but pretty amazing to think you're looking at a barren planet, close-up, that is millions of miles (or km) away from us. Amazing science to do that.
