Just saw this Ron Howard dual-biopic.

Because I lived in Germany twice in the early 70s, where Formula 1 was (is?) a national passion, the F1 world was in my sports domain and the name Niki Lauda was big (James Hunt, not as much). But I didn't remember any of the details of the epic 1976 season. This movie did a wonderful job of evoking the time and place and 'excitement' (spectacular, often fatal, accidents).
Thor (Hunt) and the Niki actor were masterful. Kudos to Mr. Howard for a superb (sports) film.

Does Ron Howard make a bad movie? Also read somewhere that he ran XC in HS.

His two Dan Brown adaptations were duds, but they LOOKED good!

I have heard nothing but rave reviews for Rush; can hardly wait for it to get to Jamaica.

Fantastic film. My only qualm is that there wasn't enough racing.

okay - Ron H DID make some bad movies. Shoulda said most of his movies are good to great. Closer to true?
