    Bob Dylan sells out

Re: OMIGOD! the '60s are officially over

Not that I would put him on the same level as Dylan, but Chrysler also got Snoop Dogg to sell out a few years ago. By the way,Coca Cola's "America The Beautiful" commercial was the most moving and inspirational Super Bowl Commercial ever aired, IMO.

Not at all sure, but I'd guess that the key here may be: big buckets of money.

in the Dylan lexicon, buckets only has one meaning!

<<Buckets of rain, buckets of tears
Got all them buckets comin' out of my ears
Buckets of moonbeams in my hand
You got all the love, honey baby
            I can stand

I been meek, and hard like an oak
I seen pretty people disappear like smoke
Friends will arrive, friends will disappear
If you want me, honey baby
            I'll be here

Like your smile, and your fingertips
Like the way that you move your hips
I like the cool way you look at me
Everything about you is bringing me
            Misery

Little red wagon, little red bike
I ain't no monkey but I know what I like
I like the way you love me strong and slow
I'm takin' you with me, honey baby
            When I go

Life is sad, life is a bust
All ya can do is do what you must
You do what you must do and ya do it well
I'll do it for you, honey baby
            Can't you tell?>>

I don't know if it was their intention, but the commercial, which I earlier called my all-time Super Bowl favorite, has created a firestorm on the internet and twitter .

And the Cheerios commercial is getting a reaction too.

Some of the comments regarding those ads make me think the 1850s aren't over. And that schooling in the US really as a poor as we're told.

I think he's fantastic, he gets down to the bones of it all. A big Woody Guthrie fan who also had them early roots music influenses.

If we look at the top 500 albums of all time that Rolling Stone Magazine did not so long ago, there's Dylan at 4, 9 and 10. Then we see his stuff all over the place. Highway 61 Revisted (4) deserves that rankings, it's a great listen. His debut album...Bob Dylan...is also a great listen, his cover of Clarence Ashleys "House of the Rising Sun".... magnificent.

Trolls will troll. What easier way to get a rise out of people than to anonymously post a racist/sexist/whateverist comment?

I liked the Cheerios commercial, as I did its predecessor last year.
