amazing talent. .. but something tells me that the ordinary street guys back in the 1980s were doing as good as these guys today.
I was a teenager in the 1980s who watched and attempted lots of breakdancing back in the day, and I have to say the 21st century breakdancers are doing some things that were not done back then, and have improved on some of the 20th century moves.
The gymnast types have a great advantage. I suspect that after the IOC sees this breakdancing has no chance of becoming an olympic event, they will simply say that we all ready have mens gymnastics.
olympic boxing has definitely been compromised by the scoring rules such that it is nothing like a real "fighting" match.. and it has been so for my entire life. The judging rules need to change so that points are given to the athlete that is pressing the fight and much more needs to be given to the fighter that lands the more impactful punches. Otherwise the dance and jab boxers will continue to be the gold standard.
