Yep, and I say that having a niece I dearly love who was a two time Olympic gymnast ...let them have their own festival. .. and no style points in ski jumping.

That would be interesting. An Olympics for objectively measured sports, and one for subjectively judged ones.

I guess very few people pay attention to ALL sports during the Olympics anyway. Is it really such a big deal if they include a few sports you consider stupid/ boring, as log as there are enough of the ones you do like?

I could never understand the inclusion of "style points" in ski jumping. Presumably if your style is off you won't soar as far anyway.

You're supposed to bend your knees on landing. The ideal landing is coming down in a Telemark position, left leg in front and bent, right bent and behind you. But I agree that I could never figure out why they bother with style points in ski jumping.

On the other "sport" its name in competition is now called "breaking"
