    MMA reminds me of why the Marquis de Queensbury rules were established. Without the rules you basically had a 10% chance of never being able to fight again after any given fight.

                Prior comments on this thread included concerns that subjective judging might make this new Olympic Sport less enjoyable for us time and measurement fans of T&F.

                I'm not so sure. Seems a lot of it is time and distance based, so it could be fun to watch.
